Victor Dutot started learning bassoon at the age of 7 with Rend Sicart. Later, he joined CRR Versailles in Prof. Ouzounoff’s class. He won the National Competition for Young Bassoonists, and was admitted in Prof. Audin’s bassoon class at CNSM Paris, graduating in 2015. Victor is a founding member of the Sinfonia Pop Orchestra, an orchestra specialized in movie music which allows him to play in the bigger halls. He is often invited to play in major French musical institutions like Orchestre National de France, Opera de Paris, and Capitole de Toulouse. Victor is President of “Basons”, an association for bassoons, whatever system and time. He has intense chamber music activit by multiplying recitals. His concerts mix great works and unknown pieces or creations. He co-founded “Le France Bassons,” a bassoon quartet that has the French bassoon shining around the world. Recently graduated from the CA, he teaches at CRR Rueil-Malmaison. Victor Dutot is a Buffet-Crampon artist.
