Lauren Schack Clark, piano, is Professor of Music at Arkansas State University. She has performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist throughout the US, Europe, and China. In August 2019, she will serve on the faculty of the Classical Music Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria, and has taught at the Saarburg Festival in Germany. In 2017, she performed Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto with the New York Classical Players. She has collaborated with faculty members from over thirty universities throughout the world. She has presented at the MTNA National Conference and World Piano Conference, and has performed at IDRS, The International Trumpet Conference, and The International Tuba Euphonium Conference. She is an MTNA Foundation Fellow, was the MTNA South Central Division Competitions Chair, and is a former President of Arkansas MTA. She holds degrees from Boston University, Northwestern University, Longy School of Music, and Hartt School of Music.
