Artist diploma, B.M., Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Chamber and orchestral performer, teaching artist and composer. Currently a member of Mallarmé Chamber Players and Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle. Featured soloist with orchestras in Alberta, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Recipient of the North Carolina Arts Council’s Composer Fellowship, 2005. Commissions include those from the National Symphony Orchestra, Exploris, N.C. Museum of Natural History and Mallarmé Chamber Players. Resident Artist at Banff Centre for the Arts and winner of the Centre’s chamber music competition, 1993-94. Fellow at the Great Woods Festival, 1986; Sarasota Music Festival, 1987-88. North Carolina Arts Council Visiting Artist, 1988-1991. Principal teacher: Sara Lambert Bloom. Additional study with Robert Bloom, Carolyn Pollack and Allan Vogel.
