TrevCo Varner Music is the “World’s Foremost Purveyor of Fine Sheet Music for Double Reeds”, with over 12,000 titles in stock. Owned and operated by bassoonist, teacher, and arranged, Eric Van der Veer Varner, TVM is the one place to shop for oboe, oboe d’amore, English horn, bassoon, and contrabassoon; solo, with piano, or in any combination with other instruments. TVM carries a complete stock of solo and chamber music incorporating the double reed family, as well as books, methods, orchestra sets, scores, DVDs, and more.

At TrevCo-Varner, we pride ourselves on offering the kind of expert customer service for double reed musicians that other online stores cannot. Our staff consists of professional musicians with over 50 years of combined experience. We speak English, German, French, and Spanish, and have contacts with rare publishers all over the world. Whether you are looking for that impossible-to-find piece for Heckelphone and Crotales for your dissertation recital, a selection of chamber music for beginning oboists, the difference between the three different editions of a Vivaldi concerto, or some great wedding music, please feel free to contact us. We have in-depth knowledge of the repertoire unmatched in the business, and are happy to help you in any way we can.

The original company, called TrevCo-Music, was founded by Trevor Cramer in 1983. In 2011, Trevor sold the retail portion of the company to Eric Varner. Trevor Cramer is now focused exclusively on publishing music through TrevCo-Music Publishing. TMP continues to be one of the largest publishers of double reed music in the world. At TVM, we carry all TrevCo editions, as well as the music of hundreds of other publishers from around the globe.

After purchasing the retail business and re-branding as TrevCo-Varner Music, the operations were moved to Dexter, Michigan. The company was moved again in 2014 to Lake Worth, Florida, just north of Boca Raton.
